1978 GMC Jimmy K5 This K5 Jimmy is a real head turner. I get compliments and smiles every time I drive her. I just purchased this truck in August 2012 in hopes of enjoying some good times with the top off. The Jimmy was a project of a gentleman and his granddaughter from the Houston area. He was the first owner, then gave it to his granddaughter. They saved every receipt for every new bolt, and every bit of labor put into her. This truck cruises effortlessly at 75 MPH on Highway and doesn't even look like its been off road ever. I have personally driven this truck every other weekend when I come home from work. She starts up after sitting for my 11 days at work with no problem. The reason for selling is that I have decided to build a home and I already have 3 other cars. I am putting up two of my cars for sale and which ever one sells first is the one I will part with. :( The Jimmy is currently being stored in an enclosed locked storage and I will be back in Houston Nov-16th-18th. I work out of state and I never had a chance to go get transfered title into my name, which is good since that would be one less legal owner. Jimmy is still titled to the young lady that I bought this from which means its been titled twice in its lifetime. Once from the original owner to his granddaughter who sold it to me.
