Rare 1971 Honda CT70H Trail 70 Hello and thanks for your interest in my 1971 Honda Trail 70 "H" model. This bike is of the rarest of the CT70s because they were the "H" model which means it came with a 4 speed transmission with a manual clutch. This model was much faster than the standard 3 speed automatic clutch models. This bike has only 2269 original miles on it. This bike is currently registered and has a clean California tittle. Restored by Mini Trail Madness in Glendora CA with over 20 years expierience restoring Honda mini trail 50 and trail 70s. No expense was spared as you will see. The bike was in good condition to start but I am some what of a perfectionist and I like my things to be nice. This bike starts on the first kick, runs and shifts perfect. This bike looks fabulous and is deffinately a crowd pleaser! So read on and Happy bidding. :) TB Parts stands for Honda trail bike parts- remanufactured good quality parts...NOT from China CHP stands for Classic Honda Parts- remanufactured very good quality parts....NOT from China NOS stands for New Old Stock also means Stock Honda Parts from Honda not remanufactured. The Frame: the frame has been sand blasted and powder coated the Saphire Blue or Candy Blue. I have replaced the following parts: handlebars (CHP) NOS Grips, NOS levers, NOS hi/low dimer switch, CHP horn button, NOS Horn, TB Parts head light and head light bucket, CHP speedometer rubber gasket, NOS front fender, CHP throttle clutch and brake cables in gray, NOS fork reflectors with rubber bases, NOS Fork boots- plastic fork sliders and seals, rechromed the original fork legs, front brake hub all polished, brake hardware zinc plated, CHP front and rear brake shoes, axles been zinc plated, chromed rims, New Bridgestone tires and tubes, CHP wire harness, NOS wire harness frame gromet, NOS 2 key ignition switch, NOS chrome strip on top of the frame, CHP frame decals applied with no air bubbles, CHP aluminum side badges, NOS side handle located on the right just below the seat, CHP seat, NOS battery, original battery box zinc plated, NOS battery box rubber cover, TB parts rectifier, original seat latch zinc plated, CHP tail light and bracket, CHP rack, CHP Shocks, Chrome Shock acorn nuts, NOS rear foot brake switch and springs, rechrome the original rear foot brake, NOS brake rod from foot brake to rear wheel, NOS exhaust pipe, rechromed the exhaust guards, CHP engine cradle or sometimes called skid plate, CHP spark plug guard, CHP shifter, rechromed the original kickstart lever with NOS rubber, rear wheel also polished the brake hub and chromed the rim, brake arm zinced, New chain and sprockets, NOS air cleaner and chrome end caps, NOS carburetor boot, All original Honda #8 insignia bolts were cleaned and silver zinc plated just like new, these bolts are no longer available as they are made different now. Engine: Built by Mini Trail Madness in Glendora check out minitrailmadness.com 20 plus years of expeirience building and restoring Honda mini trail 50 and trail 70s motors. Carburetor cleaned, replaced all gaskets, jets, jet needle, screws and springs, adjusted to factory specifications.(polished the intake manifold) Head was disassembled and bead blasted replaced both valves with new valves, new valve seats were cut and lapped for perfect seal, replaced the cam chain and cam chain rollers, polished the cam cover and replaced the valve covers NOS, cylinder was bored and honed to .25 over with new piston, rings, pin, and cir clips, barrel was painted with high temp epoxy gloss black paint, center cases were bead blasted, new clutches, seals, screws, replaced shift forks NOS, new CHP stator replacement kit, new points plug and condensor, all new drain bolts, washers, head acorn nuts, brass washers, installed factory Honda SAE30 oil, everything just like it left the factory, This bike is over the top with great attention to detail!
