You are bidding on a 1988 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with a Hodges bed. The truck has a 19' Hodges car hauler bed. This is the best car hauler bed on the market. It has a 8000lb Ramsey winch, Texas style pull out ramps, set up for recessed tie downs, both wheel stops, toolboxes, etc...The bed has a receiver hitch for pulling a trailer as well as trailer light connector. The bed is rock solid and doesn't have the common rust problems on Hodges beds. The top of the bed is coated in a non-skid bedliner to make loading vehicles much easier. The only flaw with the bed that I know of is the side maker lights don't work. All of the stop, turn, and tail lights work like they should. The truck is powered by a fuel injected 454 big block engine with turbo 400 automatic transmission. The drivetrain is all stock and hasn't been hacked together. The truck cranks right up everytime and has plenty of power for pulling. It has good oil pressure and has never had any over heating issues. The starter was replaced about a month ago. The worst mechanical problem is a slight exhaust leak, but is in otherwise good mechanical condition. This is a rust free truck and the bright red paint shines great. It has Alcoa aluminum wheels with decent tires. The grill has been upgraded to a later model grill. The interior is all in good condition, but it does need a passenger window motor. The seats and carpet are both in great condition. I have a clear title in hand in my name. Truck is sold as-is where-is.
