1989 Porsche 944 S2 A very nice example of the 944’s best year. This was the one to find. Car has low miles, unmolested, all original and repainted a few years back in the original paint color. This particular year has a strong, high torque, and smooth engine with amazing 50/50 weight balance. The 944 S2 is the underrated Porsche, a driver’s car and a great value. Specifics on the car Coupe, silver paint, all black interior, 78,000 miles, 3.0 liter engine, 208 bhp, water-cooled, 5 speed, A/C, electric windows, sunroof, locks, mirrors, stock alloy wheels, cruise control, AM/FM/CD, driver’s & passenger-side airbags. The S2 has the Turbo’s aerodynamic front-end, suspension and brakes with better dependability. A/C service, top of the line Michelin tires, struts/shocks and timing belt – water pump - clutch replacement have been completed within last 8k miles. There are a few areas needing attention and are reflected in the acceptable price; the sunroof motor switch or relay, rear hatch key release, one of the two driver seat electric adjustment switches, a few rattles I've not been able to locate and two small dimple dents were on my uncompleted list of repairs. The body, glass and interior are in very good shape for the age. The car runs, drives and looks great although it's not a show car, just a well care for classic.
