******THIS ITEM WAS RELISTED DUE TO WRONG CONTACT INFORMATION ON THE FIRST LISTING. APOLOGIES TO THOSE WHO WERE BIDDING/WATCHING. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL OR CELL PHONE (510)866-9518 WITH ANY QUESTIONS******I WILL ALSO MAKE A QUICK VIDEO AND WILL BE ABLE TO EMAIL IT******** You are bidding on a 1970 ½ Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. This is a real RS, not a Z28 with split bumpers added later. Original big block 12 bolt car, but has since been modified. into a pro-touring style ONE OF A KIND musclecar. True second gen head turner! Power: -427 Big block Chevrolet. Brand new, only 350 miles on motor, and still has second break in oil in it. Honest 500+ HP motor, I planned to tune it on the chassis dyno after final break in, but have not had the time yet. Motor runs very strong and sounds fantastic. Includes the following: -Holley 850 CFM 4780 -Edelbrock Victor Jr Intake -Forged steel pistons 10.25:1 compression. Runs perfect on 91 octane pump gas. -March Serpentine pulley system -Ron Davis Custom aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans, custom mounting, and custom shroud. -MSD complete ignition. 6A control box, Billet distributor, spark plug wires -Jet Hot Coated headers -3 inch custom X pipe with 2 chamber flowmaster mufflers, all welded, turn down at axle. -Tremec TKO 500 5 speed, close ratio gear box w/ great overdrive for freeway cruising. -Pro 5.0 short shifter, Hurst shift lever and billet aluminum shift knob. -Denny’s Nitrous Ready steel custom cut driveshaft with 1350 U joints -Original GM 12 bolt rear axle -Eaton Positraction with 3.73 gears Fuel: -Rick’s Hotrod shop custom welded stainless fuel tank -Full braided 8AN fuel system with AN fittings from tank to carb -Holley Blue electric fuel pump -BG fuel filter -Holley fuel pressure regulator Chassis -Billet aluminum body mounts -Full Hotchkis Suspension, front and rear sway bars coil and leaf springs -Energy Suspension bushings - C5 Corvette brakes front and rear w/ powder coated calipers, cross drilled and slotted rotors. -Hydratech Hydroboost power assist braking, stops on dime! -4 point 3” diameter roll bar -Subframe connectors Interior: -Dash from 1980 Camaro. Looks much more streamline than the 70-73 version. -Custom dash panel with all Autometer gauges. Tach, Speedo w/ digital odometer, oil press, H2O temp, vacuum, fuel level, volt. -Recaro cloth seats, older style similar style to E30 BMW M3. - 5 point simpson safety harnesses -Dynamat in doors -Grant leather wrapped steering wheel, removable for anti theft. Body: -Original RS/SS split bumper front end ( not knock off Z28 front end with short bumpers) This car is one of a kind, because it has had custom touches added to the body including: -Custom Car Concepts T tops. The interior molding and headliner around the T tops needs replacing. One of the tops has a broken latch. I only use the tops for storage and drive the car with no roof most of the time. -TransAm scoops molded into fenders -Shelby Mustang scoops molded into quarter panels -Molded rear spoiler -Harwood fiberglass 4” cowl induction hood. Wheels/Tires: -18x9 front and 18x10 billet aluminum Boyd Coddington wheels -Yokohama AVS 275/35 front tires 295/30 rear tires. Like new. Electrical: -Most of the wiring has been gone through -H4 headlamp conversion. -Optima red top battery -High amp 1 wire alternator -Car had tremendous sound system installed consisting of mostly HiFonics components including: -Alpine single CD deck, 2x 15 inch Redline/Lanzar woofers, 4x EV horn tweeters, 2x Vega 6” mids, 2x other mids, Zapco board equalizer, Apollo crossover, Zeuss 600 and Saturn 240w amps. -All of the amps and a couple of the mids were removed when I had the rollbar poweder coated, but everything will come with the car, unless buyer does not want them. I have owned this car since High School, and know the previous owner who owned the car since the 70’s. The car has always been garaged and well cared for. This is a garaged SF bay area car and has NO major rot and is 95% rust free. In fact, the only notable spot is in the drivers side lower fender. I replaced the drivers fender in 1999 after a neighbor backed into it. I used an original replacement taken off a 1973 Camaro RS and it has slight pitting on the bottom, but I have replacement lowers that will come with the car. As you can see, the paint looks good, but is starting to tire and will eventually need to be done. The car has about a fifteen small paint chips in various place, but still shows very well. This car was completely taken apart and gone through and is 95% finished. The frame was painted and 70% of the wiring was redone. Only small things need finishing such as the interior moldings, glove box, etc. I simply do not have the time to finish these, and certainly do not have the time to enjoy this beautiful car. Happy bidding.
