This is a 1993 Mercury Capri XR-2 Convertible with the optional Hardtop this car has the turbo engine with a manual transmission it has a documeneted 38,000 miles it is currently registered and insured in the state of california and is titled in my name with a clear NO accident`s or air bag deployment Title. The car has Zero rust and has spent most of its life in California. This car has been sitting covered in my carport for over a year i drive it very sparely and have decided to sell it hopefully to a collector who will appreciate the car . The following is a discription of the car it is Red with grey leather interior the interior still smells like new as it has been covered all these years the leather is in excellent condition with No cracks or wear as is the carpet and the dash the trunk of the car is brand new as is the spare and jack very clean the trunk still has a new smell .The car has cold Air, it has the deluxe Radio/Cassette with the booster amp but it has an intermittent sound like a short.The drivers window does not work guess the gear went bad or the drive motor i have a working replacment that does with the car, the glove box latch is broken i have a replacement that will go with the car ,the hardtop has the side plastic covers missing.Also the windshiels is cracked its still safe to drive but needs to be replaced The exterior has 2 dents in the front light panel and there are a couple of parking lot dings out side of that its very original and straight.The car comes with the original Capri hardtop cart with the original cover rare Find !! I was told the convertible top has never been taken out but i can`t verify that so i`ll see if i can get some help to take the top off to check it out.The car runs and drives awesome has lots of pep it could use a good freeway drive and some fresh gas it could also use a good professional exterior detailing and deep cleaning to bring the luster back to the original paint. The engine compartment has all the original inspection and warning stickers .The car also has all the original radio and operators manuals in the original bound book .
