This is a 1967 VW Beetle that I purchased to restore but there are some body issues that I am not skilled enough to tackle so I have decide to let this one go. The previous owner failed to keep a check on the oil so the engine is locked up. For me that was not a problem because the mechanical I can do. But, like I said, I can't do extensive body work and don't have the funds to send it to a body shop. The damage is to the front end. It was being driven up until a couple months ago so the damage didn't keep it from being operable. It has some rust in the pan but not bad at all, and the heater tubes seem to be great as is the rest of the body and fenders. The car needs to be restored. Even if you put another motor in it you would have other issues that would have to be dealt with before you could use it as a daily driver. If you have any questions, please contact me. On Oct-28-12 at 04:24:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Addendum- Just wanted to mention that the dash is great shape. The radio opening has been enlarged at the bottom but is not butchered so if you wanted to put an original radio back in it would be easy. Everything, lights, wipers, horn work on the car. I am adding additional pictures of the body damage. No damage was done to the pan or front end, steering, axle, shocks, etc. All the damage is sheet metal damage.
