Very nice 1979 Toyota Corolla SR-5 Sport Coupe. Owned by same person for 30 years....Always in California until Summer of 2012. Driven from San Francisco to Kansas City, so yes, it is roadworthy. Car was perfect on the trip, quiet cool running engine, no air leaks in windows, no oil leaks, ac blowing cold in 100 degree weather.... Car has been garaged its entire life with a car cover, ( cover is old, but included) Everything on the car works, from the clock, to the factory AM/FM stereo, to the AC which blows cold to the windshield washers that squirt water. All glass is good, no leaks in the rain or the car wash. Brand new radial tires, the vehicle starts, stops, turns, brakes like it should. No mechanical issues PERIOD!!!! This car has no rust and mostly original paint. The area around gas cap has faded and there was a small dent in drivers rear lower quarter behind rear tire that was repaired long ago. various other small spots, paint looks incredible for 33 years old. The car does not leak oil or use oil. 2000 miles will result in 1/4 to 1/3 a quart of oil being used...amazing. To the super picky restoration experts, car is missing 2 center caps for the factory wheels, steering wheel is covered as some of the paint on the wheel has rubbed off. Dash has several small cracks covered up by dash cover. Rear deck where speakers are is sun faded....Some of the various trim pieces inside have flaws, but minimal. Comes with all owners manuals, window sticker, and California Title. If you have read this far I am sure you know how rare this car is.
