This 1979 El Camino is my personal shop truck. It will be hard to let it go, but I am selling at no reserve, so high bidder wins. It runs and drives like a new car with a professionally built 350 and a TH-350 transmission W/ shift kit. Very quick, yet gets decent gas mileage. Every indication is that the 61K miles on it are original. Engine and transmission have less than that. The paint is House Of Kolor 4 stage Kandy applied over a thoroughly massaged rust and accident free body. I can't capture how nice it looks in the sun. I get thumbs up every where I go with it. It has been color sanded and buffed, and has not even been waxed yet. Here is a quick rundown on it: · Tilt Wheel, A/C converted to R-134A w/ New Compressor and Accumulator, Remote Mirror, Delay Wipers W/ Washer, AM/FM Radio, PS, PDB · Professionally built 350 4BBL with 20K milesNew Master Cylinder and Fuel Pump · New Fully Aluminized 2-1/2 Inch dual exhaust with Wicked Flow Stainless Tips at the rear bumper · Low Mileage TH350 Transmission W/ Shift Kit · Matched set of 225 60 15 Radials W/ 90% tread left mounted on Z-28 Wheels · House of Kolor Burgundy and Brandywine Kandy over Gold Metajuls and a Dusty Rose base topped with Ice Pearl · Bed has been sprayed with Raptor Two Component Bedliner · Seats are from a Subaru WRX, and are in excellent condition · Seat Belts are from a 2006 WRX and are mounted in the original stock location; They work much better than the originals and click right into the WRX seat mounts · New Grey Dash Carpet · New OEM Type Grey Carpet with Floor mats · New Rear Coil Springs and Rear Anti-Sway Bar · New Rear Overload Shocks The pictures should show what I didn't mention. The headliner is decent, but mainly could be replaced because it is blue. The rear bumper could use to be rechromed, and the dash has several cracks, mostly on the top where the dash carpet covers it. Overall a very clean, one of a kind Custom Elko. I have described the car as clearly as possible, and as with any used car it is sold "as-is". It has a clear, numbers matching Oregon State Title in my name and current registration good until 2014. I can help with loading on a transport or pick the winner up at the Medford, Oregon airport. A 500 dollar deposit thru Paypal will be due at the close of the auction with the balance due by way of Cash, Cashiers Check or Bank Deposit within 5 days. A tap of the pedal will bring it down to correct idle speed after it warms up. Runs very well even when cold.
