1981 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 62,356 original miles! Purchased from the original owner in 2009 with the plan to complete light exterior restoration. Owner spent approximately $2,000 on tires, brakes, shocks, battery and A/C compressor just before purchase. I have stored the vehicle indoors until recently and no longer am able to. I hate to see the vehicle deteriorate outdoors and I don't have the time to complete the restoration. Specifics of the car: White with burgundy cloth interior White Landau Top in Good Condition AM/ FM Stereo With Operating Power Antenna Power Windows Power Door Locks Power 6 Way Bench Seat Cruise Control Air Conditioning Original Wire Wheels Covers Bridgestone White Wall Tires (almost new) Vehicle rides very well and needs essentially nothing mechanically. The only mechanical item I know requires replacement is the automatic climate control head unit. A/C blows cold, but, needs control unit to operate ($75.00 +/- on eBay). I replaced the battery again in November 2011. Warranty and documentation provided with vehicle. Cosmetically, the interior is in very nice condition. Seats and carpet show minimal wear. As with most GM vehicles of this vintage, the headliner needs replacement from sagging. I saved the cloth and it is in very good condition. Not certain if it can be refoamed and adhered or replacement is necessary. The exterior has surface rust, predominantly on the rear quarter panels above the wheel wells and at the base of the rear. There are a couple other small spots from nicks, but, nothing is perforated through. Simple fix for a daily driver. The car is located in North Western New Jersey and is on a clear New York title due to recent relocation. Vehicle went through detailed NY inspection in 2009 and has had only 1,000 miles or so put on it since. As mentioned, there are many newer parts on this car and it drives and rides very well. Offered with no reserve. I need the space and do not want to move it this winter or have it deteriorate. On Oct-22-12 at 15:40:28 PDT, seller added the following information: A note to all interested parties: I just read the contents of this posting again this evening and noted I neglected one item. The center bar of the rear bumper is rusted and will require replacement if completing a restoration. I've found them used for approx. $150 in the past.
