1987 Mercedes 560SL Convertible Very Well Kept, Includes Original Hardtop We have available a lovely well kept 1987 Mercedes 560SL convertible. These cars are the best developed SL series before full car electronics overtook and complicated the model. The car is in very nice condition and comes with the original factory hardtop. Finished in red with beautiful near new looking tan interior. The dash and wood is all in excellent condition and shows that the car has always been garaged. The top is an excellent dark brown cloth and fits well with just a slight opaqueness to the windows keeping it form looking brand new. The paint appears original, is smooth, and has nice shine and depth. The car has just a few minor rock chips, less than one would think for the age of the vehicle. The chips have been well touched up and are unobtrusive. There are a just a couple small scratches on the rear trunk lid, but overall the car is very clean and presents way above average. The current owner has enjoyed the car and maintained it well. Mechanically the car is excellent and has been given a clean bill of health by the local Mercedes specialist who has serviced it regularly. The chassis and body are totally rust free. The engine is excellent and completely leak free as it has the timing chains replaced and valve job recently completed. The only non stock item is the upgraded stereo system with a CD changer in the trunk. It rides and drives as it should and is ready to give a new owner many miles and years of service.
