1985 Chevrolet M1008 CUCV 5/4 ton 4x4 Watch the slideshow above for all the picturesOdometer reads 6499 currently, but actual is unknown as this odometer had been replaced before I bought it. -8800 GVW..-6.2L J series diesel engine., starts easy, runs great, new oil and filter, no leaks-TH400 3 speed automatic, shifts through all gears fine, no slipping, no leaks,-NP208 2 speed (high/low) chain driven transfer case. 2.61:1 low range. Shifts through all ranges fine. no leaks, new fluid-Dana 60 front axle. 4.56 gears - King pins, tie rod ends, and wheel bearings are all in good shape. Axle u-joints and driveshaft u-joints nice and tight-Warn Style style 3/4 turn lock outs -Brake pads about 60%-Corporate 14 bolt rear axle, 4.56 gears, Detroit lockerRear driveshaft u-joints are good as well.-Tires are brand new Cooper Discoverer AT/3 Load range E 235/85/r16-Alternators charge fine both alternator belts are new-Red Top Optima batteries-All service lights work. -All gauges and dummy lights work. -Exhaust is in great shape. - all glass is fine-Emergency brakes work-Service brakes work great, no pulling or draggingAbsolutely no rust through or heavy rust. Barely any surface rust as you can see in the picturesThere are several dents and dings though. See pics for details, but they are in the hood, passenger bed, passenger door, drivers rear bed corner, and rear bumper. There are two small holes in the roof where they had wires running though that have been siliconedThe underside of the cab and frame are really clean -The bed has a DIY liner . looks like it was rolled on-new wiper motor and washer pump.new wiper blades-Blower motor works fine on all speeds. Heat only ...NO A/C-Seat has one big tear on the drivers side, under the duct tape, and several smaller cracks. otherwise in good shapeThe dash pad is in okay shape. a little mis-shaped from age and some holes from where they had things mounted. The dash pad and door panels were painted a dark metallic gray.
