1949 Chevy 3100 Pick-Up For Sale Restored/ restomod 1949 Chevy pickup truck. Looks great, starts easy, runs cool & smooth and is very reliable. Started with an Arizona rust free truck. It was totally disassembled for upgrades and restoration. The original straight axel front end was removed and replaced with a completely rebuilt AMC Pacer independent front suspension with power brakes. New shocks rack & pinion, bushings and ball joints were properly installed. The Pacer front end fit perfectly with only slight modifications. The original engine and transmission were removed and replaced with a stock rebuilt ‘68 Chevy 327 300 HP V-8 and a rebuilt 350 automatic trans. Upgraded to a 12 volt system with an alternator for bright lights and easy starting. The rear end was removed and replaced with a rock solid, rebuilt Ford 9 inch differential with 3:08 gears. The seats and cab has been rebuilt and upholstered with blue Velour. It has been garaged since completion and has only been driven a little over 3,000 miles. The interior includes newly restored original style dash instruments. Recently, a new gas tank, windshield wiper motor and a new chrome grill & bumpers have been added. It has nice chrome wheels. The truck bed was replaced with solid oak planks. The paint is white pearl, but is over 10 years old with a little patina and a few small chips. It will shine right up again with some polish and elbow grease. Headlights and tail lights are operational. The driver’s side window is cracked and should be replaced. This has the Iconic look of 1949 but has modern mechanical upgrades so it handles well and can be driven at highway speeds $13,500.00 TO SELL.
