Going to be a NR no reserve auction on this super dependable 1987 Ford custom van E150.selling my 1987 Ford E150 Custom van. 171000 miles on chassis and 29000 on 2006 installed motor and transmission ? This van has a class III trailer hitch. This van has been owned by me since May 2006 and upon purchasing we installed a brand new Jasper 5.0 302 Ford vin N motor and RV towing transmission. It has served us well in carrying tons of stuff over Central Florida for our ministry. This van is famous in some circles as we distribute food and products to smaller Central Florida churches. It has seating for 7 and a high top that allows you to almost stand up. It has a class III hitch which has only been used once by me to transport a uhaul trailer. This van is a survivor and one of the last of the big boys on the road. It is driveable today with brakes that work, good running engine, no hazards that I can think of. It like any other 25 year old vehicle has some "future" needs and her they are.The right passenger vent window needs replacing. I have it you get it.The races on both windows need replacing. I have them and the scrapers.The left drivers window motor not working.the ac needs recharging and I use envirosafe industrial r-12. Available on the internet.only the rear ac blows when recharged. the front does not, it may be the expansion valve.It makes a slight U joint clunking noise and always has when shifting gears. Never changed them.No radio.drivers side mirror there but held in place by nylon ties, needs new mirrowsome fabric hanging down inside van.carpet faded and dirty in front ok in the rest of vehicle.Needs exhaust tailpipe, not too loud though and I never replaced it.Just started right up this morning..drove it around the block...wish I didn't have to let it go...It is like owning a portable storage unit on wheels!front fuel gauge works, rear does not, it has two tanks. It also when filled needs to empty the rear tank first as there is a diverter valve (internal) which feeds a small amount of gas to the rear tank when using the front tank. I discovered this the day I bought it.Drivers door bottom has a little rust through on outside due to leaking weatherstripping for years.The top was painted with white thermo "space shuttle" paint made here in Cocoa Beach to reduce hot temps in Summer. This fix really worked and lowered the temp of the van inside on super hot days a lot! just a little warmer than ambient air temperature. It is kind of dirty and needs a good washing.Cannot really think of anything else so if you have questions please ask.Alternator, water pump, radiator, and hoses were replaced at 40000 when we installed the engine/Have used synthetic oil since the beginning, after break in.This van could serve the right person well for many years to come. I do not have time or the place to work on it as we live in a condo.I have the title in hand of course.
