Vehicle Detail
Hi I'm selling a 1987 Toyota Corolla AE86. This is a project that I have been working on since I purchased the car 6+ years ago. The car does not run, but has everything to run. Just needs to be reassembled. This car has basically everything. It needs someone who has some time for a project and wants to put one together.Motor made 330-340HP at 26PSI to the wheels thought a FWD trans in previous car BODY: Is an 87 Corolla SR5 Coupe. (Not a Hatchback) the coupe is lighter then the hatch. the coupe is also stiffer due to the brace below the rear window that the trunk hinges from. The hatch does not has this, and it flexes more. Car has 87,000 miles on it. the car came originally from Arkansas? The body has no rust. I have owned 2 of these, and this body is by far the nicest platform I have ever seen. Extremely clean body! The car was originally Grey, but it has been painted "White" with House of Kolor paint. Body kit, front & rear bumper cover, and side skirts need to be painted. Metal bumper supports, AC, and Power steering have been removed to save weight. ENGINE: 1.6L 20v 4A-GE "Silvertop" The block and crank have been cryogenic heat treated for strength by "The brass bow" The crank has been cross drilled to increase oil supply at high RPM. Pauter connecting rods, JE custom 5 valve pistons (9.0:1 compression) ARP main studs, and head studs (Not bolts) New rod and Main bearings. All gaskets, and seals have been replaced with new Toyota parts.Upgraded oil pump with raised oil pressure. Rebuilt head. I hand lapped all the valves. cleaned and reassembled the head. Motor is truly bullet proof. Motor has been completely rebuilt and has held high 20's PSI for multiple runs in a previous car. Probably spent over $5,000 on this motor EXHAUST: SS Turbo T3 header, Custom Super t70 turbo T3/T4 on a a T3 exhaust housing 3" V-band down pipe. 2.5" SS exhaust pipe. INTAKE: 20V Blacktop Individual Throttle Bodies Custom C.M. Racing Manifold with an additional 4 fuel injectors. 8 Injectors total. T3 CNCed velocity stacksNeeds intercooler, and intercooler plumbing IGNITION: MSD programmable multifunction ignition controller PN8977 controlling an MSD 6AL box. $600 in MSD ignition. FUEL SYSTEM: Simple Digital Systems additional injector controller runs the second set of 550cc injectors once the motor sees boost. This allows the motor to run with original Toyota reliability until boost then the second set of injectors are used to add additional fuel. The car also has a second SS fuel line which has been plumbed but not being used. I planned on running Alcohol as a second fuel to be added once in boost. Pump gas on stock system, and alcohol in secondary injectors under boost. You would need a second fuel cell, and pump if you would desire to do this. Set up now is same fuel through both injectors. TRANSMISSION: Rebuilt GTS T50 Toyota Transmission. Quarter Master Hydraulic throughout bearing. Transmission comes with 2 clutches, currently in the car is a Clutch Masters Stage 4 clutch (4 puck sprung hub)on a Fidanza Aluminum flywheel. I liked this clutch better as it was more street able. Also comes with Quarter Master 7.25 inch dual disc clutch. This is the last Toyota Atlantic Series 4A-GE clutch Quarter Masters made. Cost of this clutch was $1800. I would recommend this clutch for full race/Drifting only It is a very aggressive engagement, and will hold 800+ ft Lbs of torque. Way more then any 4AG will make. REAR_END: A 1986 Toyota Pick-up rear. Rear-end has been completely rebuilt. All new seals and bearings. All leaf spring suspension was removed, and custom coil spring, and multi point control arm positions to adjust traction. Detroit "Tru-Trac" Locker (Gear Type) 2-way LSD 3.29 final gear ratio installed. Also comes with 4.10 final gear. This set up will allow you to run many more gear options then the standard GTS read-end will Gears as large as 5.50 or larger. Axles have been predrilled for 4X114.4 bolt pattern. This is a very strong rear-end. Drag race/Drift/Autocross all you want. You Won't Break It!! Over $3000 was spent on putting this in the car, and rebuilding it. BRAKES: Brakes are 100% new (Have not been used yet) Strange larger bore master cylinder, Wilwood 4 piston super-lite calipers on all 4 wheels Wilwood Rotors on Aluminum hats. Wilwood brake pads I don't remember which model. All Stainless steel brake hard line, and SS braided line. New CNC rear brake hand lever to brake rear brakes separate from front for Drifting/Burnouts. Summit racing rear brake proportioning valve. The stock pedal is the only part of the brake system not brand new. Over $3000 in brakes, and they are new never run. SUSPENSION: Front: KYB Adjustable struts. strut tower cut & lowered. Adjustable collar, QA1 Springs.Rear: Adjustable 4-link control arms with QA1 rod ends Adjustable Panard bar, QAI single adjustable rear coil over shocks with QAI springs ¾ inch Anti-sway bars front and rear. INTERIOR: Interior is stock. Replaced the rear parking brake was replaced with the CNC Hydraulic hand brake. HOOD: Siebon Carbon Fiber vented hood. (Hood blew up from wind gust. It caused damage to the hood. I was planning on painting to cover. If you like the Carbon fiber look you would probably need to replace it) No damage to windshield or roof. WHEELS: 15inch Koenig wheels The car has not run with these wheels. Brand New TIRES: Tires are Douglas something's. They are brand new! Car has not run on these wheels. I put them on the wheels as something to just get rubber on the rims, as the original wheels did not fit over the larger brakes. GLASS: Glass is complete with no cracks. Rear windows have been tinted with 35% tint (Everything except for the windshield, and 2 doors) This is a great car with no rust. You will not find a car of this quality in Chicago. I have read about "Fast" AE86's with 200 - 250hp This car should run low 11's and over 120MPH in the quarter mile with the turbo alone. If you are looking for an AE86 project this is the car for you. To build this car from scratch would probably be $20,000 + in parts. Serious Inquires Only PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU PLAN ON BUYING THE CAR FOR YOUR BID PRICE.i HAVE TO MOVE THE CAR!!!!!!!!NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!HIGH BID WINS THIS GREAT PROJECT!!!!!!!!!Buyer need to arrange pick up.
