1HD-T Diesel converted 1995 FZJ80 Land Cruiser with lockers Presented by Torfab – the Northwest’s cruiser experts – www.torfab.com We are selling our latest diesel conversion to fund future interesting projects. This cruiser received the best care and attention while in our shop, in the past 10 months we have converted the engine to Diesel, wired it to plug into the factory cowl harness, and serviced everything necessary. Since the diesel conversion we have put over 5k miles on it, including one trip to Moab for some wheeling (Round trip of 2200 miles). This cruiser has spent its whole life in Washington State, and is a well cared for vehicle of which we're the third owner. We bought it this year with the intention of converting to Diesel and installing some well deserved mods. About the engine: The 1HD-T is available in Land Cruisers in Japan, Australia, Europe, etc. This is the most sought after powerplant for a cruiser because of its efficiency and power output. Factory output is 162 HP at 3600 rpm and 267 lb-ft torque at 1400 rpm. Mild mods like a boost compensator and tuning on the injection pump easily increases output to over 200hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. There are turbo kits available with inter coolers which can make this engine rival most small block V8’s but with far superior mileage. We have experienced 19mpg while loaded down with gear and traversing 6 mountain passes. I believe that to be average, but some people claim they get 22mpg with theirs (although I have never experienced that.) Besides a heart transplant, the cruiser features the following: 1. 1HD-T engine with 130k miles 2. Locking front and rear differentials 13. Center locking differential with dash switch and pin-7 mod 14. Rebuilt front axle 15. OME medium lift with sport shocks and caster correction bushings 16. Custom gauce pod with boost and pyrometer gauge 17. Touch screen stereo with Bluetooth, ipod/mp3 control, and usb memory input 18. Safari snorkel (allows for deep water forging) 19. New brakes 20. Great condition leather interior 21. Clean body with only minor scratches/blemishes 22.
