Vehicle Detail

1972 Corvette Sting Ray This 1972 Corvette will make a really nice driver once it’s completed. I bought it in 1996 with hopes of finishing the car but was never able to put in the time necessary. I put in around $1000 of new top quality parts and the receipts are included for the parts I purchased. I estimate the car is about 90% done and would not take much time to get the car road worthy. This would make a great project for a DIYer or the first time Vette owner. The body and paint are excellent and the car has not been out of the garage (except to move it) since it’s been painted around 1990. The engine is a 350 replacement motor installed in the car before I bought it. It has the correct distributor with a mechanical tach drive. The carb and intake manifold are from the original engine. It starts and engine runs great but it is running a bit rich. The car does run and drive but it needs more work before before it could be a daily driver (see below). The car is equipped with factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and new interior. A lot of the car has been rebuilt, replaced or overhauled (see the list below). The winning buyer is required to send a non-refundable deposit via PayPal. Balance of purchase to be cash in person at pick up or certified check to be cleared before car will be released. It has a clean Pennsylvania title that will be transferred at time of purchase. Buyer is responsible for all travel and shipping arrangements (I can meet the carrier locally). Please ask questions before the auction closes! Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end early if it would sell outside of ebay.  Thanks for looking!
