You are bidding on a 1976 BMW 2002 with automatic transmission. CONDITION: Very clean, no rust, no accidents, all original. The car starts and runs great. The transmission shifts very smoothly. Everything (lights, blinkers, windshield wipers, etc.) work excepts the clock on the dashboard. Doors, windows, and sunroof open and close fine, no water leaks at all. The previous owner removed the radio and speakers and I never replaced them. Just got the car tuned up to sell so the following items are brand new: fuel pump, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor, carburetor (flushed), oil filter, and an oil change. Washington registration is good through Feb 2013 and usually costs about $50. You'll obviously notice that the front-left quarter panel chrome trim is missing (FYI: I priced it out and it is $180 to replace). HISTORY: I bought this car from a person in California and drove it up to Seattle where it has served my wife and I as our second "fun" car. We really treated it well these last 4 years: we only drove it locally, only in the Summer on sunny days, and when we weren't using it, it was stored at my office in an underground parking garage. To give you an idea of how much we used it: we've only put on 2K in the past 4 years. This car has been EXTREMELY well documented. All information pertaining to the purchase in 2008, registrations from both California and Washington, vehicle emissions inspections, and maintenance invoices have all been saved in my trusty BMW binder.
