This is a 1982 Porsche 911 SC with 143,200 miles in excellent condition and it runs great. The engine was fully rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago by Renntag Motorwerks in Nashville. They have an excellent reputation and have rebuilt many 911 engines here in middle Tennessee. It had the broken head stud problem common to so many older 911's. The rebuild included new pistons and cylinders, chain tensioners and many other parts too numerous to mention. The engine work alone cost $11,000. The mechanic also went through the transmission and clutch, checked it all thoroughly and replaced a few worn parts. Much restoration work has been performed including brakes, suspension and interior work. All 4 brakes have been rebuilt with new rings and hoses, and the front brake rotors are new. I have maintained a file with the specific parts replaced and the work performed. The one thing this car needs is new front seat covers, they currently have 3 large repair marks on them. The seat repair marks don't bother me, but the new owner will probably want to install new front seat covers. The rear tires are 80% and the front tires are new. The car has been garaged it's entire life as far as I know. It has been repainted the original color (Platin Metallic) and looks great. There is no wreck history or body work that I am aware of. The fresh engine runs great and the car is in excellent condition. It is ready for use as a daily driver, and the only thing this car needs is new front seat covers.
