1986 Chevrolet M1008 CUCV 5/4 ton 4x4 Odometer reads 7034 currently, but actual is unknown. -8800 GVW..-6.2L J series diesel engine., starts easy, runs great, new oil and filter, no leaks-TH400 3 speed automatic, shifts through all gears fine, no slipping, no leaks, new fluid and filter-NP208 2 speed (high/low) chain driven transfer case. 2.61:1 low range. Shifts through all ranges fine. no leaks, new fluid-Dana 60 front axle. 4.56 gears -New Oil - King pins, tie rod ends, and wheel bearings are all in good shape. Axle u-joints and driveshaft u-joints nice and tight-Warn Style style 3/4 turn lock outs -Brake pads about 80%-Corporate 14 bolt rear axle, 4.56 gears, Detroit lockerRear driveshaft u-joints are good as well.-Tires are Uniroyal Laredo HD/T 235/85R16 load range E with about 60% tread-Alternators charge fine-2 new batteries-All service lights work. -All gauges and dummy lights work. -Exhaust is in decent shape. -winshield has a small rock chip on the drivers upper corner, all other glass is fine-Emergency brakes work-Service brakes work great, no pulling or draggingThe cab corners have some rust as well as the passenger side inner fender. The hood has some heavy rust and there is a crack in the ridge in the middle of the rust spot.There are several dents and dings.There was a small hole cut in the passenger side floor board where a piece of tubing was run through it. I patched it but there is also one that goes from the cab to the bed. See pictures. I have not patched this oneThe underside of the cab and frame are still fairly clean-Wiper motor works on both speeds-Blower motor works fine on all speeds.
