Vehicle Detail
1965 - RAMBLER MARLIN SHARP! RARE!! NO RESERVE!!! This auction features a Very Nice, RARE 1965 Rambler Marlin. This Marlin was in a Private Collection since the Eighties (1980s) and was recently purchased from the estate. This rare fish has the following options: 287 V8 Flash O Matic Transmission Tilt Steering Wheel Reclining Bucket Seats & Console Center Arm Rest Floor Shift AM-FM Radio Power Steering Power Brakes Twin Grip Rear Axle This Marlin has had a repaint; however, shows Very Nicely. The floor, trunk and towers are rock solid. The right rear quarter panel has had a few issues. We have had the front seat covers and the entire carpet professionally replaced. The dash pad, arm rests, door panels and rear seats are Excellent. The glass is all nice and the windows roll as they should. The chrome is original and OK; however, not 'Show Quality.'The wheels are aftermarket Magnum 500s and the tires are two (2) stripe Bias Ply Kellys. Be advised, the tires are old and do not give a nice ride as radials would! The exhaust system looks almost new and is quiet. The transmission shifts good, and has no leaks. The engine is quiet and does NOT smoke. The Owner's Manual and Accessory Book are still in the glove box. The keys are an original set with the numbers. There were not very many Marlins produced and Good Ones today are 'hard to find.' This Fish is not perfect; but, is One of the Better Ones!! We believe this Marlin is in good condition and should drive anywhere. This 1965 Rambler Marlin has a Clean, Clear Wisconsin Title. Good Luck in the Bidding!
