Up for sale is our long time family owned 1955 Chevrolet gin pole winch truck. This ran, drove and winched about five years ago but has sat since. Tires are old and rotten but will hold air to load onto trailer. Short wheel base. PTO driven winch @ 12,000 lbs capacity Winch bed and poles can be removed fairly easy, added on with chains and brackets about 30 yrs ago. Clean cab with very little rust. Some small dents and dings but nothing major. Floor boards solid, some surface rust. Glass all intact. Interior is complete and in decent condition. Engine is complete and should run with gas, battery and some hope. Everything needs to be gone through to make this a safe usable winch truck. All hoses and wires are still intact ( No @%*$#* RAT damage) Wanted to keep this and restore but have to many other future projects. This would make a very inexpensive, unique rat rod or restore and tow your classic.
