THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION FOR AN IMMACULATE WELL MAINTAINED MERCEDES BENZ 420 SEL. THIS CAR HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT AND METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED BY ITS PREVIOUS OWNER. THE EXTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS IN EXCEPTIONAL SHAPE THE PAINT IS A DARK ANTHRACITE METALLIC AND IT STILL SHINES LIKE IT JUST PULLED OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR. THERE IS NO VISIBLE PAINTWORK ON THE VEHICLE AND I AM ASSUMING IT IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT. THERE ARE NO MAJOR DENTS DINGS OR SCRATCHES ANYWHERE ON THE VEHICLE.ALL MOULDINGS ARE INTACT INCLUDING RUBBER, PLASTIC AND CHROME TRIM. THE INTERIOR ON THIS VEHICLE IS A LIGHT GREY LEATHER AND IT IS ALSO IN AWESOME SHAPE. THE LEATHER ON THE SEATS LOOKS LIKE IT HAS EITHER BEEN RESTORED BACK TO FACTORY SPECS OR THE PREVIOUS OWNER MUST HAVE BEEN A VERY LIGHTWEIGHT INDIVIDUAL BECAUSE THEY REALLY DO NOT SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR. THE DOOR PANELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE ALSO AS IS THE WOOD GRAIN TRIM. ALL OF THE POWER WINDOWS AND SEATS WORK PROPERLY AS DO THE GAUGES AND LIGHTS. MECHANICALLY THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT, THE MOTOR IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND STARTS RIGHT UP ON THE FIRST TURN OF THE KEY. THE BRAKES STOP AS THEY SHOULD AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS VERY SMOOTH, THE A/C BLOWS EXTREMELY COLD EVEN IN OUR LAS VEGAS 117 DEGREE HEAT. THE CAR HAS A VERY NICE SET OF TIRES HAT LOOK LIKE THEY LAVE LESS THAN 5000 MILES ON THEM AND THEY RIDE VERY SMOOTH. THIS CAR IS A TRULY NICE AUTOMOBILE THAT HAS BEEN PAMPERED SINCE NEW. THE 420 SEL IS ALSO NAMED A W126 CHASSIS BY MERCEDES AFICIONADOS.
