Presenting a 2002 Chevy Suburban 1500 with the Z71 Package. This truck has 199,769 highway miles. This was a trade-in at a very big Honda Dealer on the east coast. On a test drive the engine sounded fine and did not overheat and the gears shifted properly.There are no leaks. The tires have average tread. 4WD engages properly, hi and low. The brakes seem firm but the ABS light did come on briefly and then went off. Equipped with Onstar. Pretty clean body except for a minor dent near the left rear wheel as you can see in the pics below. If you're not familiar with the Z71 package, the upgrades include : Availability and Requirements The Z71 package is only available on Suburban models with a 1/2-ton towing capacity and offers slight variations depending on if the Suburban is equipped with four-wheel drive or two, rear-wheel drive. The upgrade package is only available to trucks with black, white, red, gray, or silver exteriors. Suspension and Tire Specs Included with the Z71 package are upgraded springs and gas-charged monotube shocks and a rear differential. Tires are upgraded to size 265/65/18 on aluminum wheels. Exterior Enhancements To contribute to the off-road look, the Z71 includes body-colored side mirrors, a front air dam, flared wheel arches at the front and rear, side step, plastic jounce front and rear bumpers, fog lights, and a roof rack. Also included is a special lug-nut cover, body-colored front grille, and side rocker panels that are thicker than non-Z71 panels. The vehicle does require a good cleaning as you can see in the pictures. Sure we could detail these cars like other dealers, then you’d think the condition is better and would pay more for it as well. We’re often amazed at what we can sell them for if we have them detailed! Don’t be fooled, a detail job will get these cars to the same level as any other one.
