Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a complete FINO Kit from V8 Archie. He is doing well, and in business (so replacement parts can be purchased in need). The good thing this there is no need for this auction. Here is his website, http://www.v8archie.com/v8Archie/home.htm. Visit http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20100421-2-054448-8.html to see the labor and build for a Fino. The thick fiberglass FINO panels alone for the kit cost $4995 + tax + 100+ in labor + other parts. This is an absolute steal. You can expect to pay as much or more for a quality installation ($15k+). Add another $1500 for paint, and even more for a few tweaks. It has halo headlights from a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The interior has a carbon fiber gear ship knob, power windows, power mirrors, power trunk release, and even power defrost! It has nearly mint seats with speakers in the headrests. Stereo sounds great. The wheels will be changed to nice aluminum rims. It has chrome tips, and better yet... Bolt on vertical doors! V8 Archie sold a limited amount, and you would expect to pay $2k to have them installed. I will also upgrage the red steering wheel with a nicer gray and silver wheel which it very similiar looking. V8 Archie installs small block chevy's into any Fiero. 2 Seater Garage in Homer, MI installs the finest 3800SC and 4.9 Cadillac V8. Go to www.fiero.nl to get to the message forum. 3.1's, 3.4's, 3400 DOHC's, Northstars, Ecotec's, electric motors, turbocharged, supercharged, and race engines of all kinds on budget installs. The current 2.8 is strong, the 4spd and clutch is strong, but the engine bay just needs a nice detail. If I keep it, which I will if it doesn't sell... It will get a 3800SC, wet sanded and a brake upgrade. Right now, it is a great car for a teanager. (not to powerful, and very cool looking). You will not see another of these for under $15k. Thise is priced cheap because it isn't show quality. Payment will need to be USPS postal MO's overnighted or cash in person. (Sorry, there have been too many counterfiet cashier checks) PM any/all questions as all sales are final. Greg 317-308-1553On Oct-01-12 at 05:22:46 PDT, seller added the following information: The last 4 photo's where taken from the internet. These kits were built by V8 Archie (www.v8archie.com). I recommend his products and service, and this sale will fund a chop top on my modified 87 GT (and hopefully help make other payments). :) Trust in my feedback. On Oct-02-12 at 00:00:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Despite the Ebay login, I have been a Fiero enthusiast for over a decade. Despite Pontiac going out of business, there is a huge community of over 25,000 owners to help any problems/questions/service/advice/and are willing to lend a helping hand for free to keep these magnificant cars on the road. Here are a few of many websites with info. You can also www.youtube.com keywords of install instructions, tips, tricks, etc. Without further adue: www.fiero.nl http://normsfiberglass.com/fiero.html www.fierostore.com www.rodneydickman.com http://www.mrmikes.com/fierohome.htm http://www.gmtuners.com/ http://www.whodeaniecustoms.webs.com/ http://www.fieroshop.biz/ http://fierowarehouse.com/ And many more tuners, modifiers/customizers, etc. Just google what you're interested in, or e-mail me at FieroGTguy@aol.com to help meet your wants/needs. Joe Welch is a Fiero Guru (with an extensive background that can troubleshoot nearly anything you through his way at reasonable rates, I only trust him to work on my fiero-based supercar). He does engine/tranny swaps of all kinds along with repairs. Feel free to e-mail him anytime at jdkw@core.com and tell him that Greg from Indiana sent you. GregOn Oct-04-12 at 21:43:11 PDT, seller added the following information:I would just like to add a few facts about this auction: 1) Lambo doors for Fiero's are custom made. They aren't cheap to find, install, and years of design work went into making a bolt on kit. This is a bolt on kit, so the doors could be returned to stock if winner preffers (then sell the bolt on's for nearly the current bid) 2) This is the only Fino kit to my knowledge that uses 2000-2005 Mitsubishi LED Headlights. Seach Ebay, and there are various versions that would be easily swapable. 3) After 25+ years, it is very fast and functionable. It only has 99k miles! A functional Fiero alone would sell for that. 4) Extensive work has been invested in changing spark plugs, spark plug wires, new distributor, and more. 5) I am going to add an extra plenum w/ newly powdercoated, Upgraded EGR tube (because the original one tends to crack), a full gasket kit (not needed, but I have it laying around in perfect condition), an ignition coil and ignition module for anyone that tends to travel long distances (every enthusiast carries a spare, because they tend to go bad after 100k). 6) They red steering wheel will be replaced with a new gray one to match the interior. 7) Even though I will be swapping the 17" wheel's, then replacements will be Pirelli P7000 new and unused. 8) This is a car that I bought to resell for a profit because I got laid off. I did make a 6hr trip, test everything, took the pictures, and saw it run, idle, drive as one should. 9) The low starting bid was because it has obviously been sitting a lot due to the labor involved with the modifications. It has been a daily driver recently from the person I bought it from. I asked all the questions one should before purchasing a Fiero (Being an enthusiast for over a decade). I have 5 star feedback as well on www.fiero.nl, and the central Indiana Fiero Club President). 10) I already have an extremely modified car that took a decade to make, so I know how much money, time, and effort is involved. I won't hog the Fiero Community by hoarding them or being greedy with awesome Fiero builds. 11) It is being sold as-is where-is (nearly 100% of the time with used cars, and I haven't been the actual daily driver. I know when someone is feeding me BS, acts shady, or lies almost all the time. If I didn't, I wouldn't have restated claims, but most were from my own inspection. Please call with any questions (that's why I put my phone #). You can also trust in my feedback. 12) Winning bidder will receive my information to send a USPS Postal MO or cashier's check from a reputable bank. A postal MO clears immediately, and is the prefered method for buyer protection. Fraud involving a postal MO is a criminal felony. If a certified check is mailed, it must clear before pick-up is authorized. The open title will be mail 2-3 day priority with delivery confirmation. 13) If you want to be on the straight and narrow, there will be a time delay to get the title in my name (I can't speed title from out of state). The other way will just have the seller info filled out, then sent after funds clear. 14) Only a $250 Paypal deposit is due upon auction end to avoid non-paying bidders (buyer must add 3% for the PP fee). The MO or check avoids the 3% charge for the buyer, and protects the seller from false cases. 15) Unfortunately, there are no refunds to protect me. (Say in the instance that you get in a minor accident, and claim it was that way when you picked it up?) It's one of those things where you trust in God, but lock your car type of thing. 16) If you don't have the funds to send/mail payment immediately, DON'T BID. If you don't want to call me to fact check everything, and choose not to trust in my feedback/integrity, DON'T BID. Lastly) This car was enjoyed, and not a trailor queen. I would polish and wax it, and touch up very mild touch ups from daily usage. I am unsure when it was painted. There is some overspray under the engine vents. Good Luck, Happy Bidding, and I'll do right by the high bidder whatever it takes! I live by the golden rule. Thanks, GregOn Oct-05-12 at 23:00:56 PDT, seller added the following information:It was test driven today by two potential bidders. They were impressed. The one additional thing that was noticed by the second one was that the 90 degree bend beyond the muffler is 6" from the actual tips on each side. I am guessing this was done to keep carbon build-up off the tips. It was driven to a shop that will connect them for $50/side, if the winner chooses to. GregOn Oct-05-12 at 23:18:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Today was my second 6 hour round trip to the car (first to put a deposit, and second to make the payoff and paperwork). Due to it being a trade-in from a used car lot, the clear title is under my name. It will be titled (not registered) first thing Monday morning. Once the title is received, I will sign it over to the winning bidder and send it via USPS 2-3 day priority. I am NOT making another 6 hour round trip, so the winning bidder can pick the car up once the full payment clears via USPS postal MO. I was hoping to keep things easier with an open title for immediate transfer, but there was nothing I could do about it rather than cancel all bids and end the auction (which would make many of you upset)On Oct-05-12 at 23:33:23 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer another question why I didn't drive it to my home in Noblesville, IN... It's because I made the trip by myself both times. As cool as that car is, I would rather it be registered and insured before driving. And, I trust a 2010 HHR that is registered//insured over a 25 year old car that has higher mileage (despite the great running condition).___ The last day of the auction has several people that want to look and test drive it. I have left the keys and gave the shop manager permission to allow people to check it out and test drive it. If you would as well, send me a message for the location.___ Sorry for so many additional comments, but Ebay isn't making paragraphs and this is easier to read/understand. I'll be locked out from sending updates on the last day, so feel free to call before placing your bid at the last second (or using www.esnipe.com that places a bet for you in the last 3 sec before ending to prevent a bid war, be carefull... Dog eat dog on rare/unique/wanted items! On Oct-05-12 at 23:55:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Now I'm locked out of editing payment instructions. Ebay autofilled cashier's check, and cash in person. Payment WILL only consist of a $250 Paypal deposit (unless otherwise called before final bid of not having/wanting an account), then the remainder in USPS postal MO's. It protects the bidder because it is a felony to cash one with fraudulent intent. I will accept a wire transfer, M*neyGram, but no cashier checks. I was burned on a fake one from Chase. Please cancel your bid if these terms are unacceptable. Please don't bid if the terms are unacceptable. Thanks for your understanding, Greg On Oct-06-12 at 00:06:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I have pictures from today of the new wheels/tires installed on the car. Unfortunately, Ebay locked adding pictures to this auction. Message me your e-mail for the new look. Stock Fiero turbo wheels (painted black) were used because the other 17" wheel's had blue center caps, and I didn't have time to get the tire mounted to them. The new (non-red) steering wheel looks a million times better, and matches the interior (have pic). You can also request pics at 317-308-1553 for immediate transfer anytime. Greg On Oct-06-12 at 01:35:40 PDT, seller added the following information:View actual wheels and car that you'll own if you win here! http://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/3319886762.htmlOn Oct-06-12 at 06:37:21 PDT, seller added the following information: These apaer to be the closest headlight used in this kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400280919258?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 If you search 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, (2000-2005), or 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 Eclipse headlights... You'll see how much you can tweak this one of a kind kit. Before placinging another bid... Please check out the craigslist link. You aren't supposted to include auctions or links, but please be a good sport an not flag the post. I update a new ad if it has been flagged, but you'll have to search craigslist for it and I'll be unable to easily show you the pics without e-mail or texting you. If flagged by people trying to reduce bid competition, text a pic request for additional pictures at FieroGTguy@aol.com or 317-308-1553. I've answered ALL calls, even at 2am today and answered 100 questions from someone wanting to drive it to the west coast. Not knowing this car that long, I (personally) would have it transported. It runs and drives alright, but I've broken down many times in the last 12 year from Fiero's with less mileage (alt regulator going out, ign module, ign. coil, etc... GM fixed the 84 recalls of the 4cyl's that made them "catch on fire", and with no leaks... I'm sure that wouldn't happen. I would just advise against flying in and driving home. Have a friend with you with a tool kit and fire extiguisher just in case). lol That's not the greatest thing to "sell" a car, but I'll help with anything needed post sale. Just give me a chance, and you're expectations should be exceeded in the end. That's how I do business. Greg
