1986 Honda Goldwing 1200 Interstate This is a great bike rode it all summer 4 months ago sent it to the shop for an over haul so I could do some serious ridding this summer. They did a great job and the bike rides and runs like a champ. Would love to keep this bike but unfortunately cannot fit through the door to my new shop so I need to sell it because I can’t store. My loss is your gain. This bike is in perfect mechanical condition. The work that has been done in the last 4 months: Brake system completely rebuilt master cylinders, calipers & Break pads. Cooling system has been flushed through. New spark plugs & air filter Carburetors completely rebuilt New battery Clutch master cylinder rebuilt Oil & filter change Work done to the bike in the last month Bran new tiers less than 20 miles on them New voltage regulator. I have had this bike for the last year and really enjoyed it. I have kept it in great mechanical condition. The only problem I ever had with the bike was a charging problem a month ago. The shop I sent it to fixed it with the new voltage regulator. Also the shop did not seem to install the speedometer cable correctly after changing the tires because it no longer works. It is probably a small fix but have had the bike in storage the last month since I moved. The number on the odometer is correct I will vouch for that the spedo really just stopped working 20 miles ago & I only rode it once to make sure that the charging problem was fixed. I had power where I was storing the bike and It has always been on a battery tender. The only problems with this bike is purely cosmetic. Some of the chrome is starting to pit. I had a body shop spray the bike with clear coat when I first got the bike but it could really use a paint job to be 100%. The seat has three dime size slashes but no foam showing through. Also about a month ago the back passenger seat rest top seam opened it is not photographed but I have it I sent it to be fixed by a upholsterer. The rear tail light cracked about a month ago when I was putting it in storage. I have a replacement for it just haven gotten around to putting it on. That’s it. This is a great bike for anyone has been well kept as you can see hate to see it go know I’m going to take a loss on it but I need to go sooner rather than later.
