Up for bids is my 1965 mustang. I've owned this car since 1998. I hate to sell it but hardly ever drive it anymore and figured its better to let someone else enjoy it. This car is a real head turner and gets attention everywhere it goes. Original color was phoenician yellow and was repainted red sometime before i bought it. The odometer shows 82,386 and does work. No a/c, power steering or power brakes, drums all the way around. With the exception of the body most of the car was redone in 2000 which included most of the interior and suspension and steering components. The original 289 and automatic was replaced with a Series II balanced and blueprinted 302 built by Recon Automotive Remanufacturers for autozone and the desirable 4 speed transmission with a hurst competition/plus shifter. It has a ford 4 barrel aluminum intake with a quadrajet carb from a corvette, hooker competition headers, hooker mufflers, and 2 1/2 exhaust with turndowns. The engine has less than 20,000 miles on it. I put a new flyweel and a Zoom high performance clutch in it in 09. It also has a 8.8 limited slip rearend with 2.73 gears out of an explorer. I have over $5000 in receipts from new parts that have been put on the car over the years. I also have a nice set of original hubcaps and other misc. parts that will go with it. This car is 47 years old and does have some rust showing up in a few places on the body. The floor boards have been patched in places at some point but are solid. Part of the passenger frame rail is rusted at the front leaf spring mount which is typical of the old mustangs. Its been garage kept for the last 14 years i've had it and hasn't gotten any worse.
