NO RESERVE ONE OWNER 1971 JEEP 4X4 This is a 1971 Jeep that has been kept out at the company lodge since new, it has the original V6 engine and 4 speed transmission that have never been rebuilt or had any major work done to it. I drove this Jeep around town a little and it runs pretty good, the 4 speed shifts good through all the gears but once and a while jumped out of first, The V6 engine runs out pretty good but you have to have the choke on a little to idle or the engine dies. The 4X4 worked it makes some noise when in low gear. I am not selling this Jeep outright, the highest bidder at the end of the auction wins. I don’t see any rust on the jeep and it looks good inside and out, there are a couple small dings and the paint will shine if rubbed out. I do not have the top or doors what you see is what you get. I just found out two deferent things about the Jeep I took this to a mechanic to see what kind of shape the motor was in, he said it has a sticking valve, and the heads will have to be reconditioned. I did not ask him what it would cost so I am not sure. The second thing is the title, we could not find the original title so I went to the DMV to get a duplicate. Since this is so old the title had been purged and we have to apply for a purged title. This will take about two weeks, the good news is the DMV will give the new owner a temporary tag until the title comes in.
