1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE The vehicle had quit running. After replacing the fuel pump and having the gas tank refurbished to better than new condition (Moyer gas tank renew, Greensburg, PA, www.gas-tank.com), I learned the car had electrical problems due to age & corrosion of wires/connections. The fuel pump is getting a very weak current from the electrical connection. The rear wiper/washer no longer gets current either. Before this the engine still ran/idled great with plenty of power and zip. Rebuild may be possible, but it is definitely a great parts car. It has not been driven since summer 2006. Here is a list of newer replaced and/or upgraded parts the car has: Rear deck carpet was replaced with a new original Mazda replacement carpet, same color. New fuel pump Better than new fuel tank Fuel filter Universal joints were replaced in 2004 Rear seal on transmission was replaced All of exhaust has been replaced except for the first catalytic converter from the engine New clutch New clutch master cylinder & slave cylinder Replaced front strut inserts with Tokiko New rear shocks Replaced right rear brake caliper & rotor Replaced front left brake caliper, rotor, and bearings Replaced spark plug wires with Magnecore wires cosmetic replacements include door cups, lock surround, latch surround, gold metal hinge on center console, dome light lens Replaced cruise control module Replaced pitman arm Replaced one inner tie rod end and one outer tie rod end Replaced emergency brake cable/connections at rear wheels Replaced one igniter Replaced windshield wiper mechanism Replaced starter Replaced front speakers There are some extra parts included: rear wiper washer bag (for washer fluid) extra brand new factory glove box door extra passenger visoradditional fuel tankoil hosesother miscellaneous parts The car was kept very original. No engine or stereo modifications were made. All original aluminum wheels. Includes storage bag for glass sun roof. Original owners manual. The body is bad from the elements and some vandalism. Two of the tires, windshield, and passenger mirror glass were vandalized. Pick up only. Buyer will have to make arrangements for hauling the vehicle.Sale is final.
