1957 BMW Isetta 300 Fair Low Reserve / BID IT TO WIN IT 1957 BMW Isetta 300 / 1 dr Micro Car (for starters we didnt get a title with this car not too uncommon, but we can get one if you have 8 weeks to wait at a price of $180 more)this BMW has been in AZ the best we can tell most of its life and off the road for many yrs.The UofA had the car about 15 yrs ago, they where going to make it a Solar car so the floorboards gotsome mods. Then the project got scrapped and thecar sat for many yrs inside storage minus the engine.The glass is all good and Id consider the body to be 95% rust free and straight. Glass is all good too. Windows slide no problem, front door opens fine. Handle isnt bolted on properly and no keys. Of course it has the factory sliding sunroof, the car comes with alot of loose parts not bolted on. (see all pics) So if you dont see it on the car, check out the pics where there are alot of parts sitting out to see what else comes WITH the car.This would be a great car to build like you wish. Your choice of a better then stock motor, nicer interior and much more. The paint on the car was done about a year agoand its actually not all that bad. I think if the car was finished it would pass for a daily driver. The worse part of it all is the overspray under and inside the car. Minor but annoying. Didnt see rust anywhere else that was worth reporting on that you cant see in the pics below. The chrome is still actually very nice for its age.Not 100% sure what all small parts are missing. See for yourself, we have over 100 pics below !! Let them ALL load before try to view them. I WONT END THE AUCTION EARLY SO DONT ASK This is our first ISETTA we've ever found in Tucson They built literaly thousands, but very few actually survived. The best part is, either way its a sound investment. If you are overseas and want to bid on our BMW, by all means I understand, and please do !! Far less rust issues then cars sitting in humid parts of the country. Tucson is a desert and our cars last a long long time :) If it doesnt meet reserve, email me if you want. Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you.
