You are bidding on a 1970 Honda CL100 Scrambler. The Honda CL is essentially the CB model with raised exhaust for off-road use and a few other minor modifications. I got this bike last year, not running. Cleaned (but did not coat) the tank, cleaned the carburetor, put in a fresh battery, changed the engine oil, changed the fork oil, replaced the coil, condenser and spark plug boot, replaced the front brake cable. Headlight is new and brake and directional light bulbs have all been replaced. New OEM mirrors. Tires are probably original. Seat is perfect. Tank has a dent on right side (see photo) and is missing some paint. Front turn signals are not original, you can see that in the photo. Chrome is decent, some pitting, could clean up more if you're willing, especially the fenders which I have not touched. There is light rust on frame parts as the photos show. (Right passenger foot peg is missing in photos. It does not stay up, so I temporarily removed it, but it is included in sale.) Bike runs fine, all lights working. I'm selling to get back space in my garage. This is a GREAT bike for people young and old to learn to ride on. It will go 55+ with a 160 pound rider, yet it's tame enough for someone who's not yet familiar with the controls. The bike was registered in CT in my name until about a month ago when I transferred insurance to another vehicle. No title needed in CT as it is older than 1981. I am listing as "salvage" title because the VIN is assigned and if you insure this, it will be under "kit/salvage" or the like. This is a real easy bike to take care of. Everything is small and light weight and simple. You can do it yourself! Bike is listed for local pick up.
