This wagon was my daily driver until earlier this year, when a new addition to our family prompted me to switch to a minivan (modern infant car seats just don't work too well in older cars). I love this car, so I didn't sell it right away... but I'm realizing I really have no reason to hold on to it and I'd rather see someone else enjoy it. This car has a rebuilt salvage title. It had been in a fender-bender and had been totaled by the insurance company. The damage was all cosmetic, and minor -- tail light and front turn signal needed new lenses in order for it to be re-certified. The car had a some issues when I took it off the road, and more have appeared as it has sat for the past several months. That's why I'm starting this auction low -- I realize whoever purchases it will need to put some money into it. I'd rather see it go to someone who appreciates these powerful wagons, though, than to the scrap yard. I hope you enjoy this car! Known issues: cracked exhaust manifold - it's had this since I bought it. I never bothered to fix this because I liked the noise. :-)cracked distributor cap - this makes the engine sensitive to moisture. On a dry day, it runs just fine. On a damp or rainy day it has spark timing issues, and if it's damp enough it will not run. In the process of troubleshooting this issue, the spark plugs and wires were recently replaced. driver's side muffler - missing lower metal shell. Will need to be replaced.front end alignment - the passenger side tire is wearing unevenly. rear tires - they're ok right now, but will need to be replaced soonrear wiper - motor runs, but wiper does not move.driver rear window - does not go down.A/C - worked when I bought the car, but stopped a couple of years ago. Never looked into this. Heater and fan work OK. electrical drain or short - this has shown up since the car came off the road. Battery is recent and will hold a charge by itself. Alternator charges fine when engine is running. When the car is off, the battery gets drained completely.transmission fluid leak - this just showed up last week. It looks like a the leak is in the tubing near the transmission fluid radiator in the front of the car. The car does start and run and can be moved. Because of the transmission fluid leak and the sensitivity to moisture, I wouldn't plan on driving the car any distance until these items are addressed.
