Greetings Mechanics and Body Men!!! Welcome to our NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Here is a 2000 Pontiac Montana Mini-Van. I am selling it for my in-laws, and they are selling it with a NO RESERVE pricing! Here's the skinny on the vehicle... It is being listed as a "Mechanic's Special," because it has some issues that need to be dealt with: * Their local mechanic told them that the head is cracked. It needs the antifreeze/coolant/water refilled from time to time.* The driver/front passenger A/C works (Freon was added this summer.) but the rear A/C does not.* The driver side front blinker lens is gone, as shown in the picture.* The fuel gauge does not work, but hasn't for as long as they've owned it.* The fuel pump makes a humming or buzzing noise, but again, it has as long as they've owned it.* The engine stalls from time to time, and this is an unknown problem. It doesn't have a problem starting after it stalls. These are the only known issues with the van. Up until the time of this listing, my father-in-law would still drive it back and forth to town for coffee, which is a round trip of 14 miles. The body of the van is in GREAT shape. There isn't any rust anywhere, which would make this a great parts vehicle as well if you're looking for something along those lines. If you have a wrecked van, and can throw an engine in this one, you will have a solid vehicle for a long time! With this being a used vehicle, and with the known issues stated above, there is no warranty, implied or actual on this vehicle. It is being sold AS IS. The van does start and run fine, but I would definitely recommend trailering it to your destination. Please email with any and all questions. This is a LOCAL PICK UP AUCTION. The opening bid is the amount the junk yard said they'd give for the vehicle, but we believe the van is in way too good of shape to just flatten for scrap. Hence the auction! :-) A minimum $200.00 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Remaining balance is payable either by cash upon pickup of the vehicle, certified cashier's check from a US Bank or a Postal Money Order, or entire balance can be remitted via PayPal.
