Vehicle Detail
I have for sale my 1985 Chevy Corvette. 145, 050 miles, but that is subject to change since I still drive it often. It has a valid Virginia inspection and has been used as a daily driver for the last year and a half. I have done a lot of work to the car since I've owned it to include. Full Tune up....... Plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap, Rotor Button, Coil, Electronic Ignition Module, and Air Filter. New Front Brake Pads New Fuel Pressure Regulator, And Intake Runner Gaskets. New Valve Cover Gaskets New Headlight Motor on the passenger side New headlight Relays New Fuel Pump Relay New Carpets, Steering Wheel, Seat Covers , And Dash Cap New Water pump and Gaskets New Serpentine Belt I also have a lot of receipts, For work that some of the previous owners have had done. Walker exhaust, Fuel pump, Work on the front bushings, and a lot of other things as well. The stereo is a 7 inch ( diagonal ) touch screen DVD, with remote. It is Ipod ready, as well as usb and a slot for an sd card. The only minor issue is that someone wired it wrong , so it looses it's memory setting whenever you turn the car off. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I'm no stereo guy. Over all the car is in fair shape, But does have a few issues. Nothing that would stop anyone from using the car right away, as they are mostly cosmetic. The paint is an amateur job, and doesn't have a lot of shine to it. There is a crack in the roof but it doesn't leak, I think some one repaired it with epoxy, you can see it plainly when you look at the roof. There is one segment of the far right number of the speedo that doesn't work. You can read the speed, but it does look a little odd for example 8s look like backward 6s. As with so many of the old C4s, the Weather stripping leaks when it rains heavy. And lastly and Probably the worst thing, One of the previous owners removed the compressor and dryer from the car so NO A/C !!!!! I have posted a short video of the car on you tube here is the link youtube.com/watch?v=gEQB_UA-V4s As I said I have used the car as my daily car, for about a year and a half. If you are looking for a good restoration project, solid foundation for a track car, or just a good deal on a Vette to drive around as is, this is the car for you. Remember, this is a no reserve auction High bidder takes all. I will be happy to answer any questions and thanks for looking.
