1965 Volkswagon Bug (we just sold a stock 64 bug that NEEDED fullresto for 3800 !!) This car has much more going for it and could easily be put back to closer to stock in a day. Fair Low Reserve / BID IT TO WIN IT but only if you are serious about buying a nice car. Black and White bugs look great and never go out of style. 65 is a great year too ! 1965 VW Beetle / California Arizona Street Bug ! 80% finished , already a daily driver. You wont find a more rust FREE bug for sale for what our reserve is, check out the pics to see for yourself. Runs and drives great, would take this car anywhere.Motor has about 10k miles on the rebuild. Some upgrades when the rebuild was done are Dual Port conversion and the use of a late model block, mild cam etc. New clutch too. Motor still even has the original heater boxes usually trashed or rusted out yrs ago. This car will rock down the freeway at 75 no problem.Tires are in great shape too. Original color was like an Java or Emerald Green Currently runs with a Semi Flat with Gloss antique white doors.Looks as good in person as it does in the pics. There are 2 dents hard to see on RR and RF fenders. Rear bumper is new repro, front is still the original. Lowered properly, so if you want to put it back to stock it wouldnt be hard. Brakes also all been done and in great shape too. INTERIOR has had alot of work done to it just not finished. I think ALL the weatherstripping has been replaced in the doors and around the windows too. And with the good German stuff too, not the cheap stuff. 1 pcs front windows are a nice touch too. A set of Pop Outs for the rear that come with the car. Needs headliner still . Stereo CD player and system is nice. The window tint could of been done better. Aftermarket seats are bolted to a set of stock brackets so no mods where done to the floor to install them. Factory Baby Moons look great too. Being an CA/AZ car its a solid car. On the eastcoast, this car is a $7500 car all day long. Floors / Battery area etc are super clean !! Some surface rust on the running boards, but I stood on them numorous times, they feel fine.Didnt see rust anywhere else that was worth mentioning. See for yourself, we have over 100 pics below !! Let them ALL load before try to view them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------>As is, the car is fun to drive and really needs nothingmechanically that we can see or tell by driving it.It does have a recent plugs and New EMPi wires. It would be nice to restore, but even as is it gets alot of attention driving around with the Patina and few dents. The Reserve is UNDER $5k and may be lowered during the auction if we feel the need to do so. This car is easily worth 5k or more all day long on the eastcoast. So what do you do, drive and enjoy it AS-IS or finish it. Fun to drive, nice tunes and interior, and great gas mileage and cheap insurance !! The best part is, either way its a sound investment.
