Vehicle Detail

This is an older restoration (approx 10 years ago) of a 1930 Coupe. It is the deluxe model which means it has cowl lights and an intriour ceiling light. It is a very nice car. I purchased it from a fellow whose wife recently died and he no longer wanted the car. This car was used in the country so there is dust on the underside paint. COMMENTS: ---Title - has a clear Minnesota title. ---Battery - brand new. ---Body sheet metal - excellent. A very nice paint job. No weld or rust detected anywhere. --Fenders-- excellent. - three with no weld or breaks, One with some weld, but an excellent job and invisible on the top. One can feel it on the underside. ---Running board splash aprons - excellent ---Roof - new one installed, nice job. ---Interior. no interior upholstery, excepth seat which has been nicely upholstered. But there is upholstery material with the car, if you wish to upholster it yourself or hire someone to do it. Kits are available, but they probably include the seat which you won't need. Perhaps there are some vendors who will sell you the kit without the seat - LeBarron Bonney comes to mind. ---Interior wood - new wood, nicely installed. ---Ruble seat area - the seat is nicely upholstered, but has a 1" hole in the material which is nicely covered and practically invisible. So all you would need are the side panels, which to me, are unnessary. There is also a nice floor mat. ---Radiator - looks fine, does no leak, is not damage, but had a few nicks on the inside. ----Radiator shield - a very nice accessary. ---Hood ornament - a nice accessary. ---Tires - has 5 lightly used tires, almost new. ---Motor - runs fine, I was told it was overhauled. ---Carburetor - a professionally rebuilt Zenith carb. ---Exhaust Manifold - an Autolite manifold comes with the car, which has a removeable top so you don'[t "roast" in the Summer. --Chassis --I was told this was a body off restoration, which I can see signs of with the paint on the underside. ----Wiring - 100% new wiring in entire car. ---Lights - headlights are sealed beam, and work fine. ---Cowl lights - work fine ---Tail light - works fine. ---Stainless steel and chrome - all is nice. --Windshield wiper - none installed, but a vacuum wiper comes with the car which probably should be rebuilt. ---Owners manual and two other books - come with the car, as does the crank handle, This is a nice restoration of a very desireable and fun car. While it isn't 100% complete, because of the lack of upholstery, The costly restoration work, the sheet metal and paint has been done. With the addition of upholstery, I feel it would be a $12,000-$14,000 car, but to allow room in cost to get this work done, I am selling it for $9,500. And if there are some other necessay adjustments, which I am not aware of, there is money to do this.
