Up for auction is a one owner 2005 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4. This vehicle is equipped with the Ford Fleet Special Service Package and was used as a police vehicle. It has 86089 original miles and is a rust-free California vehicle. The vehicle comes with a clear California title and has just passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). This vehicle is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 5.4L EFI V8 gas engine, 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, factory skid plates, running boards, heavy duty trailer tow package, air conditioning, power driver’s seat, speed control, tilt wheel, power adjustable pedals, premium AM/FM stereo radio with CD and cassette, anti-lock brakes, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, rear window intermittent wiper/washer/defroster and driver/passenger air bags. The vehicle condition is consistent with most used police vehicles. This vehicle runs and drives well but the engine has a ticking sound when warmed up. The right side camshaft, cam rollers and lifters were replaced at 80,000 miles and now after inspection, the right side camshaft, cam caps and followers are scored. The transmission was replaced at 53,000 miles. New tires were installed at 84,500 miles and the brakes are good. Everything on the vehicle works including the A/C. There are holes located in the roof and side view mirror backs which were used for mounting police equipment (see photos). Both front doors have been painted flat black. The interior also has holes from the installation of police equipment. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received routine preventive maintenance service. Included with the vehicle are the original owner’s manual, window sticker, factory workshop manuals and all service/repair records dating back to 2005. This vehicle comes with all items shown in the pictures and includes a spare wheel and tire. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within seven (7) days from close of auction. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction.
