1940 Pontiac "Moonshiner" Coupe. I bought this car from my buddy Stacey David, but I have too many projects and not enough time. This one needs a good home. This is an all original steel body and frame with the original Straight 8 and three speed on the column. 98% of the original trim is included, and I have an extra front bumper. Engine ran fine when the 6-volt battery gave up the ghost. Interior is original and the odometer shows 53k miles. I own a performance transmission company and intended to build this into a flat black Moonshiner for publicity, but time and funds are short and I need some cash for a Mopar project that I am finishing up. Great old original car ready for restoration or rodding. Car has factory heat option, extra carb and some other extra bits. The title is free and clear. Some of the glass is good, some of it flat out stinks. There is definitely some bone under what passes as paint but overall the car is as solid an example you will find un-restored. Car has been indoors at American Powertrain until about three weeks ago when I put it outside to take some pictures. I will email pictures of specific areas if needed. Car will need to be moved to its new home on a trailer. I can help with transport within a reasonable distance of middle Tennessee, or it can be picked up by your shipper. The car is complete but rough and will absolutely need significant TLC. I will not sell anything under false pretenses so if you have any specific questions fire away.
