Vehicle Detail
1967 Buick Riviera GS, true GS, 1 owner before me. 55031mi. Built 455 to stage 1 specs, many performance upgrades. Rock solid no rust car, was professionally restored in 2000/2001. Runs strong, tons of power, drives nice. Grandfather bought it new, gave it to grandson around the mid 90's, they both decided to restore, grandpa wanted original, grandson wanted a hotrod....So, they compromised. Has the original seats under slip covers made in the 70's to fit over by an upolstery shop, have never been off since. Paint is super shiny and sharp, but does have it's share of chips and dings from the years. Underside is excellent, was gone over when the car was restored. Motor....455ci, balanced, 10-1 comp, 400 turbo automatic (rebuilt to handle 500+HP) 342 posi/limited slip rearend, Holley 850 dbl pump carb, crossflow S-divider intake, 5 angle valve job w/guides, big cam, elec. fuel pump w/reg, electric fan to back up the stock fan, MSD pro billet distributor, Crane coil, custom "hugger headers" with Jet-Coat coating, all AeroQuip braided fuel lines, and aluminum pulleys...just to name a few, all w/receipts....car really moves...and sounds great doing it with dual flowmasters and running on race fuel (can run pump fuel, I just liked the smell) Was an A/C car, all the parts come with and can be bolted on and charged (all brackets there) , and also has the original orange 430 valve covers, and carb. Drives nice, has power steering and brakes, both work effortlessly. Inside a Monster tach w/shift light, 2 Autometer guages, and a CD player have been added, all in the center box, as to not destroy the original dash, at Grandpa's demand (so it could be put back to stock) I also have the original Protecto-Plate, owners manual and sales literature, along with all the Fisher Body manuals. All engine build specs and reciepts (2000-2001) too----Shocks, ball joints/suspension done then also, POR 15 coated and reasembled, approx. 5-6k after resto. Interier is nice, not perfect or show, headliner nice, carpet nice, dash nice (has a few small crack on top, not very noticable), original roll speedo works fine. Does need a washer fluid resevoir installed, does not have one...otherwise everything works. Drive anywhere------Way too much to list completely...Clear title. Pics tell the story best, take a look, ask me any questions, THANKS!!
