Vehicle Detail
This 1991 BMW 318i 4 Door Sedan has 131,000 miles and has the original Alpine White paint and grey cloth seats. The interior of the vehicle is in mint condition with no tears in the seat cloth whatsoever. The dashboard and interior mouldings are do not have any cracks or sun-damage - all instruments, switches and gauges function just as they did the car rolled off the factory floor to include the following: On-Board Computer DateTime Memo FunctionTrip-o-meterExterior ThermometerHeating & Cooling SystemWindshield WipersRear Window Defrost Rear View MirrorsActivate Driver/Passenger Mirror SwitchMulti-Directional Switch controls all directions on each MirrorHeadlightsLow BeamHigh BeamFog BeamsCigarette LighterParking BrakePower Window ButtonsFront Driver Side Window operational via center console buttonFront Passenger Side Window operational via center console buttonRear Driver Side Window operational via door mounted window buttonRear Passenger Side Window operational via door mounted window buttonOverhead Interior Lamp Switches mounted above rear driver and passenger doorsOverhead manual sunroof opens and retracts normally as well as vents properly and does not leak.Features an after-market JVC CD player with remote that is currently running to the original front and rear speakers (normal everyday use of the stereo and speakers as I have a penchant for NPR - in short it's a great system and the car is more of a bimmer purist than gearhead.) The front suspension of this vehicle has been replaced including:Front Passenger Side Control ArmSway BarMcPherson StrutsSuspension BushingsUpper Front Spring Pads (Driver/Passenger)New RotorsNew Hood RoundelNew Trunk RoundelThis car was purchased for my personal use to restore to it's former glory with the intent to retain as much originality as possible. The 1.8 Liter engine does not miss a beat and idles flawlessly. I have replaced as many items on this vehicle as I could afford before having to relocate to another state which put a stop to my project. This vehicle is driven less than 50 miles a week and is in tip top condition. I choose this car because of it's good condition and I have only improved it while in my possession. The body does have a few minor dings as would be expected for a car of it's age - I can attest that all could be easily cared for by the local body shop. Notable Dings: Drive Side Front Hood near headlamp DingRear Passenger Quarter Panel 2 Dings (1 discolored dark grey)Small Rust spot on top of car near sunroof; however not an open wound.Front spoiler slightly bent - evident in attached photos. This piece can be purchased on Ebay for $100 and painted alpine white by any auto body shop.
