Vehicle Detail
This is an original car and all numbers matching. Not a clone or a car that does not have the original motor. It is also a survivor and not restored this is the way it came from the factory. . I bought the car in 1999 and we took it to the Mopar Nationals in 2000 and entered it in the judged class so the experts could tell me what it needed to make it as perfect as I could make it . They were blown away with the car and all of the options that the car has. The things they told me I needed were 16LB Radiator cap, Hood to cowl rubber, Hood to Radiator rubber, Mopar battery with correct yellow caps which I bought all new at the show. At the show speedvision was doing a show called Muscle cars on Dodge Darts and I was thrilled that they wanted to use my car on the show. Also Year one also took pictures of the car and it is in there catalog on A Bodies. And yes I do have a copy of the show to prove it really was on it. The car came from Miami Florida from Spitcer motors then to Clearwater and I had it shipped up to Indiana where I lived at that time. , Now I have moved down to Clearwater Florida and lots of people see it driving around on the streets which I always get a big thumbs up even from the non Mopar people. The car has only 71,700 miles and has 22 options which I well get into later. I have tons of documentation on the car like original window sticker, loan papers, order sheet, booklets, and pictures. The car runs great but is a little tempermental tell fully warmed up, Shifts great and runs down the road straight and true. It also sounds great because it has Flowmaster mufflers on it. The factory AM radio was gone when I bought the car and in its place is a excellant sounding AM FM cassette player with some nice sounding speakers back on the package tray. Also the carburetor was just rebuilt by Guaranteed Carbuetors out of Largo Florida. They are the best in the bussiness. The body is just now starting to show bubles under the paint and the pictures well show you that. They are under the passenger door on lower rocker panel and up on drivers side down from the roof line Now for the good stuff the options. V01 EV2 Hemi Orange with V21 factory black out hood and bumble bee stripe. H51 factory ac that blows cold, G11 Tinted glass, D34 Automatic transmission, D2X9 Deluxe vinyl bench seat, A01 Light group, C65 Foam seat cushion, C93 Carpets, D91 Differential sure grip, F23 59 amp battery, J31 duel horns, J41 pedal dress up, J45 hood tie down pins, J55 undercoating, M05 door edge protector, M85 bumper guards, N85 factory tachometer, R11 music master AM radio, S83 rim blow steering wheel, T76 E70X14 bsw tires with raised white letters and W25 Simulated mag style wheel covers which made the price of the car to be $4,004.70. The car has new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires all sized at P225/70/R-14 with less than 50 miles on them. The saets and the dash are perfect and no bad spots on the seats. Head liner perfect dash great and all of the gauges wo rk including the tach. The battery in the picture is one year old and I do have a original yellow cap Mopar battery that goes with the car. The Mopar battery is not that powerfull unless you drive the car once a week. That is the reason for selling the car I bought a boat and we go out in it so the car sits and only gets drove about once a month to keep all the running gear operating. It has a car cover but it was getting ratty so last month I went out and boght a new one which is still in the box. We have had a ball owning and showing the car which it has never been to a show without takeing a trophy. It was entered in clearwater only once and took best Mopar of show. My situations have changed when we came down here to live. Now were out in the boat and doing other stuff so I am selling the car. PLEASE NO TRADES it has a reserve but it is very reasonable. You can send anyone you want to look and drive the car, mechanic, friend or,even your mom it doesn't matter to me. There is no buy it now. Bid and you will find out what the reserve is and if you think you have enough cash in hand then come by and make me a cash offer. THANK YOU!On Sep-13-12 at 05:50:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello. Here are the answers to questions. Yes it is the original paint. The floorboards and trunk pan are perfect, remember this car came from the factory with undercoating. The motor is the original along with the carb, radiator, even the starter and alternator. They were rebuilt using the factory outside case. Headliner is perfect along with door panels. The car came from the factory with kellsey hayes four puck disc brakes on the front. Have anymore questions just ask.On Sep-14-12 at 05:23:50 PDT, seller added the following information: More answers. Suregrip is what mopar called positraction and it has 3:23 gears. The windows do not leak and are factory titnted because of the air conditioing. it was an option. Head liner and dash has no bad spots or cracks. When the car was in Indiana it had its own garage it was stored in and all the time I have owned it it was only once lightlly rained on . It is stored under a carport here with a car cover over it. Anymore questions just ask.On Sep-14-12 at 09:48:36 PDT, seller added the following information: THANK YOU. The reserve will be met in a couple of more bids so PLEASE remember you are bidding to own this nice car not to come and look at it. If you have any and I mean any questions asl them now.On Sep-16-12 at 11:35:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Heres more answers. The car leaks nothing on the floor and it does not burn oil. The plug wires are date coded to the car. That means I had one original one that was with the car and over at mopar nationals I went to Year one booth and bought exact same code in new wires.. There are no BB marks on winshield and no wiper scrathes. Now something I did forget. The horn is a rimblow and you folks know they didn't last very long. When I bought the car in 1999 it did not work and it doesn't today. There are places in Mopar Muscle or Mopar action that can restore the wheel to work. It just did not ever meen that much to me. Who can't see a bright orange car comeing at them. Anymore questions just ask. Thanks
