The 1969 Mustang BOSS 429 was of the latter variety. With only 859 BOSS 429s produced in 1969, it is one of the rarest and most valued muscle cars ever produced.Finished in Raven Black, this BOSS 429 replica was created with the utmost attention to detail in a no-expense spared rotisserie restoration completed in 2011. Now having just 78 miles since being completed, its custom BOSS 429 NASCAR block has been stroked to 520 CI and features a new David Kee 4-speed Toploader transmission with Hurst shifter. Other performance features include a Scat forged steel crank and rods, a 608 lift cam, TMI heads, and a 2½ ” Magnaflow dual exhaust with headers. The car benefits from new exterior panels to which a laser straight application of Raven Black DuPont base coat/clear coat was applied. The finish has a mirror-like luster, as does the exterior chrome and bright-work.
