Lowered price. This car needs to go! This car is a true sleeper based on the looks, but don't let the looks fool you! I bought this car nearly a year ago here on Ebay. The car did not run and this was stated in the listing. It turns out the engine was shot. So I decided to make some improvements! Please feel free to ask any questions you have by using the Ebay message system. Serious inquiries only please. The car is located in Lacombe, Louisiana. i am about 20 minutes from Slidell. I have well over $16,000 invested in this car. Below you will find a list of the modifications. The car is set up for a supercharger. All of the supporting modifications to put on a supercharger are already done. As I said, feel free to ask any questions you might have. The body has 155,200 miles. Everything works on the car with no known issues. It has about 50 to 75 miles since the rebuild. I would give the paint an 8 out of 10. There are the normal rock chips and dings of a 12 year old car. The ding it has is shown in the last pic. The interior is probably a 7 of 10. There are no rips or tears but there are a few stains on the seats. They show up in the pics but are really not as noticeable in person. And now the good stuff! Here we go! I currently have the rev limiter set at 7500. This engine was built to rev high! The engine was originally built by Tim Matherly for an NMRA real street car. I purchased the long block with approximately 15 passes on it. So when I bought the engine it had about 4 or 5 miles on it. I swapped out the cams to the Crower stage 2 blower cams because the cams that were in it were way too aggressive for a street car. The car that the engine came out of was a sub 10 second car with a D1 Procharger setup. The person I bought the engine from (the guy that had Mr. Matherly build the engine) got a deal on a drag radial car and decided to part out his real street car. I happened to get lucky and was looking at the right time. This engine is flawless! Transmission/Drivetrain: 2003 Cobra T56, 6 speed manual with a 10 spline input shaft, liberty was on back order for the 26 spline but the other internals are Viper Spec Spec Stage 3 Clutch Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel MGW Shifter with Hurst Shift KnobAluminum Driveshaft 3.27:1 rear gear ratio2003 Cobra Accelerator, Brake, Clutch and Dead Pedals Shifts nice and smooth and has only had Mobil One Synthetic ATF inside. Exhaust: Flowtech Full Length Headers with Off Road H-pipe Flowmaster 40 Series MufflersThe exhaust sounds awesome! Induction: SCT BA2800 Mass Air Sensor Accufab 75mm Throttle Body Billit Aluminum Plenum Edelbrock Intake Manifold This setup will flow all the air you can cram into it! No need to worry about the stock plastic intake from Ford thanks to Edelbrock! Lastly, I have not had the car on a dyno for horsepower numbers. I can tell you that I also own a 1993 Mustang GT with an 03 Cobra drivetrain and this car feels at least as fast as that one. Keep in mind that the 93 is lighter and with the 03 Cobra drivetrain it is supercharged. This car is quick and would be downright scary fast with a nice blower setup. I set the car up to run an intercooled F1A Procharger with the hope of making 600HP at the tires. So for about another 3-4k you can have a 600+ horsepower car!
