The woman who traded this 2005 VW Jetta in to our Fiat Studio took good care of the vehicle, and it shows. The car is a sharp silver with black interior. The car has been well maintained, but the automatic transmission is slipping. We have not assessed how significant a repair it needs -- we'd rather put it out right away for our e-Bay friends to buy at a great price! The car also has a cracked windshield from being hit by a rock on the road, and a dent /scartch on the front passenger door, shown here. With just a very modest amount of love, this 111,322 mile Jetta has the whole second half of its life ahead of it. These cars are economical yet roomy and have earned a very loyal following. We don't have any four-door Fiats to sell you (yet!) but until they come in, this Jetta might be the perfect answer. The transmission slip is not very noticeable, if I were not looking for it I would not have noticed it. But it is there and the car will need some service. I also noted that the service engine light is on, but that may just be a mileage-triggered alert as the car is running very well. It starts and drives strong and everything in it seems to be working well. The power windows and sunroof work great and so does the air conditioning -- it's 100 degrees here in Alexandria VA today and it cooled me right down! This car is seven years old and has some miles on it but it feels pretty fresh and was clearly not abused or misused. There is a crack in the windshield from a stone chip; it is not touching the edges of the windshield and is on the passenger side so not in the driver's line of sight. I found this Jetta to be comfortable and quiet to drive, and it feels like it has notably lower mileage.
