I have been receiving a few questions about the logistics of purchasing the vehicle because the car has a lien on it at my bank. The vehicle has a lienholder (MIT Federal Credit Union) www.mitfcu.org whom currently holds the title to the vehicle. When the loan is paid off (payoff amount valid until Sept 11th is $26,565.74) the title will be released to my possession in 7-10 business days. I will then FedEx overnight the title to the auction winner. If the auction ends with less than $26,565.74 then I will cover the difference. I am considering the car sold at this point and I will move it back into the garage so that it is kept safe and ready for it's new owner.
