1997 Ford F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 7.3 Power Stroke Diesel Short Bed XLT with under 50,000 miles!Purchased new at Broadway Ford in Idaho Falls, Idaho on August 7, 1997. We have the original purchase order.Non-smoker, no pets, no kids, never seen a hard day.Unmolested, stock, 7.3 turbo diesel that is as original as the day it was purchased.6 passenger seating with a 40/20/40 bench seat up front. 3.55 gear ratio.The bed liner ($269) and the Clarion CD player ($279) were dealer-installed. We have the receipt.Truck came with factory camper package.Power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, mirrors, power lumbar adjustment, keyless entry, alloy wheels.Has very few exterior blemishes, all paint is original. No rust, very little sand and mag-chloride damage contact. This is a garage-kept pick up. It's had so little use the seat belts are still stiff. If we were to pick the truck apart, the pinstripe kit could be replaced to bring it to almost perfect. At some point in it's low mileage, there were 5th wheel rails installed; they are no longer in the truck. The truck has been completely reconditioned. Practically new tires (less than 500 miles on them), fresh lube/oil/filter, air filter, fuel filter, all boxes were checked and fluids were clean. This truck is 100% ready to drive anywhere in the country tomorrow morning -- fuel it and go. It's also just been detailed, and we replaced the O/D computer, which is a common issue, to the tune of $1,000. 4x4 engages flawlessly, A/C blows cold. All electric works perfectly. The truck shows and drives like a 15 year old vehicle with 49k. Needs nothing.We are the 2nd owner, but in reality it's a one-owner truck. My stepson found and purchased it. He says, "I am buyer for a dealership in Colorado. However, this truck is too old to keep in our inventory. I purchased it personally because I knew I'd never see another one with this kind of mileage in my lifetime. This is one of the best F-series bodies paired with Ford's most sought-after drive train.
