But they have to be. The police cannot have their cars breaking down on the way to an emergency because of a lack of proper maintenance. The Police Interceptor is the safest full size car that is on the road today. It has a five star crash rating for the driver and passenger. The P71 is also tested in a 75 MPH rear end collision. No other car in the world is tested to that standard. You cannot put a price on your safety. I am sad to see that Ford has quit making this excellent car. The front wheel drive Taurus that is replacing the P71 Vic is disappointing to say the least! Vehicle Condition: This car looks excellent, starts, runs, and drives great. Exterior: Ø Paint is very glossy. We only washed this car. Ø There some door dings, small dents and up scratches. This car had a no holes cut pushbumper installed at sometime while it was in service. They removed it prior to sale. There are some minor rub marks from it on the top of the bumper. Nothing major at all! Ø No cracked or broken glass. There is a small stone chip on the windshield. Ø Only one plugged hole on the roof! Interior: Ø Very clean Ø Non Smoker Ø Has a working spotlight. Ø Has a working auxiliary dome light. Often referred to as a “ticket light” Ø There are NO holes drilled on the face of the dash Ø Seats are nice and clean. No rips or tears. Ø Carpet floor is clean. Ø Radio works Ø Power windows work Ø Power door locks work. Rear doors are hooked up and open from the inside as well as the outside.
