I am selling this Classic 1971 Volkswagon Bus with a Factory Camper Conversion Package. I am selling it for my Brother-In-Law. He is a bit of a Hippie fall back. He is actually a college Professor and has owned this vehicle for many years with the intention of fully restoring it. The VW is all original and in good restorable condition. It is powered by a 4 cylinder "Suitcase" motor in great condition with a new carburator, alternator, distributor, tune up parts, etc. The vehicle ran perfectly when parked but has sat a few years inside his garage. He said the motor will start but won't stay running, probably due to varnish in the carburator jets. The exterior is very solid only slight rust on the bottoms of some of the panels. There are a few minor dents and the paint is faded. All of the glass is in excellent condition. The interior is in very nice condition with two tables (interior and exterior), refridgerator, sink, fold down bed. The dash and flooring is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading. This VW is a great classic vehicle ready for restoration. Will make a great show piece at the local car shows. Extremely rare and unique, hardly see any of these around any more.
