This is a very nice 1957 Olds Super 88 2 door hardtop 371 c.i. engine with the J2 option (Tripower) and a rebuilt Jetaway Hydramatic transmission. All the chrome parts have been re-chromed (bumpers, headlight rings, taillight rings, hood and fender trim, etc.) All the stainless steel trim has been polished to a high luster. All the upholstery is new, including the door panels, carpet, headliner and the dash. Engine has good compression and runs very smooth and has a quiet, mellow rumble sound. The body is very straight and the paint is a stock Sapphire Mist and the paint job is a least a 9. The wheel covers are new reproductions and the tires are all new. All the gauges and indicator lights work perfectly but the radio and the clock are not working. All the brake shoes, wheel cylinders and the rear brake drums are new. The car has a new wiring harness installed by a professional. The car has power steering, power brakes and power windows. The windshield and all the window glass is new with new rubber. The carburetors, power steering box, master cylinder and the power brake booster (treadle vac) have all been rebuilt. The battery is a new dry cell built to look like the original stock Delco Battery. The gas tank has been chemically cleaned and the inside coated with a special lining by Mattson Radiator in Buena Park, CA. This car is a California car so rust is not an issue.
