Early Feb.15 build date.Bucket seats, console. Clean transferable NY registration. Needs restoration. Frame has surface rust but appears to be solid. Will need work on lower quarters, rockers, and floor. Doors, fenders, inner fenders, and trunk lid are good. Hood will need work on front edge (rust) or replaced. Windshield is starting to fog between layers, all other glass appears to be good. DO NOT have engine short block or heads. Included is a correct 2-4bbl intake ( C3AE J,3B4 date code) and later carbs (C3AE 9510 C, list 2652-1, date code 333), correct cast long tube exhaust manifolds (right,C2AE-B, date code 2-11-3, left C3AE-D, date code 2-5-3), original T-10 four speed w/shifter (tag A-3-N-1 ?,shifts through all gears freely) and 2 floor plates, 2 dual point distributors ( C3AF-AF 3HA/3AC date codes), alternator, flywheel, bell housing, clutch linkage, complete nodular rear (date code 2B26) still in car, no tag, gearing unknown. Data and Buck tags in place. Extra parts including a set of complete solid doors, power steering set up with manual shift column, power brake set up, auto console plate, and expansion tanks. Have been told that a very low number of 427 R code boxtops were produced (around 50), starting in February of 63,replacing the 406, before Ford went with the fastback body soon after, This car may be one of the first made, however have not come up with any verification documenting this.
